Here is a break down of characters with a little description!
THE PIRATE CAPTAIN - Lead Baritone - A bold, swashbuckling, and theatrical leader. Despite his loud and fearsome swagger, he is actually a softhearted, tender, and honorable romantic who refuses to harm orphans.
FREDERIC SKYWANDERER - Lead Tenor - The male romantic lead. He is youthful, genuine, and incredibly naive. Though he detests piracy, his unyielding sense of duty keeps him bound to the pirate crew due to a technicality regarding his leap-year birthday.
MABEL STANLEY - Lead Soprano - The female romantic lead. The sweet, bright, and slightly coquettish daughter of the Major-General. She is astutely sympathetic and unafraid to stand up to the pirates.
MAJOR-GENERAL STANLEY - Lead Baritone - Father to Mabel, he is eccentric, fastidious, and in command of a gaggle of beautiful ensigns. He is an upper-class military man known for his hilarious rapid-fire patter songs and his tendency to be clever yet silly.
RUTH-E.P.O. (Electronic Personal Organizer) - Lead Mezzo-Soprano - Frederic’s aging, loyal, and somewhat sneaky nurse robot. She accidentally apprenticed him to the pirates as a child and desperately tries to win his romantic affections.
LT. SAMUEL - Supporting Tenor - The Pirate King’s right-hand man. He is clever, organized, and serves almost as the administrative accountant of the pirate crew.
SERGEANT - Supporting Bass - The bumbling, clumsy, and cowardly leader of the local Space Security Team. He leads a squad of easily frightened policemen who are forced to confront their fears.
EDITH - Supporting Mezzo-Soprano.
KATE - Supporting Mezzo-Soprano.
ISABEL - Supporting Soprano.
